Introductory Occupational Performance Coaching (OPC) Workshop
OPC is relevant to all health conditions that restrict children’s participation in home, school or community settings. OPC involves highly collaborative goal setting and shared analysis of situations with caregivers. Communication with caregivers is structured in ways that enhance caregiver engagement and sense of competence. The OPC approach has been extremely beneficial through the current climate of teletherapy, enabling us to coach families in their own settings and journey alongside them in their daily lives. The course runs over 3 modules for (3 hours); plus one follow-up session (1 hour).
This interactive workshop will be delivered by OPC Trainers Dr. Áine O’Dea & Melanie Scott.
